Antoine, You're a Genius (Lullaby, Phase 3)

Another approach to the lullaby subject, somewhat different than the first two.

Photosynthesis, Pt. 4

After a long break, I decided to return to recording ambient drones. This one is done by playing the piano while filtered through a deep reverb, some equalizers, chorus and heavy overdrive distrotion with a high feedback rate. This is arguably the most heavy, distorted and noiseful part. But there is a reason for it and the composition of the piece is structured. You may also be interested in the first, second and third part of the series.

This piece is unedited, released as recorded.

Too Tired To Sleep

This time a crawling theme with uneasy harmonies.

Photosynthesis, Pt. 3

This is my third ambient drone recorded live by playing the piano filtered through a deep reverb, high feedback delay, some equalizers, chorus and overdrive distrotion. This part is much lighter, spring bleeds through it. You can also be interested in the first and the second part of the composition.

This piece is unedited, released as recorded.

Highway Disaster: Contemplation

Inspired by a lately experienced dangerous situation. This piece is very descriptive, try to picture the situation in your head while listening.

Be One

...with yourself, with your significant other, with life. B1 is also the leitmotif note of the piece. And so, DailyImprov.net enters its second month of existence...

Note: You might want to look at the archive of older entries where all improvisations for March are still being kept.

Ana Marie Anomaly (Conservatory)

This is originally the first of Anomalies ever created, but this recording is done much later. It appeared as the second track on the album. It is the most peaceful of them all, with many conscious musical references. How many can you spot?

Photosynthesis, Pt. 2

This is my second ambient drone recorded live by playing the piano filtered through a deep reverb, high feedback delay, some equalizers, phasers, choruses and overdrive distrotion. The second part is much darker than the first. Unedited composition released as recorded.

Leaving the Past

Another one of Anomalies, a series of improvisations I’ve done in 2007. Unfortunately the Logic files are gone, so only the MP3s will be published for them.
